As director, I have had the privilege of being at the heart of the scientific community of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center for many years.

With an exceptional international reputation, our institution serves as the meeting ground for the brightest minds in Quebec. Our research teams stand out for their determination to push the boundaries of science, exploring complex and diverse fields.

As the largest French-speaking research center in North America, we have the responsibility to translate our discoveries into tangible solutions beneficial to the entire population. That’s why we actively engage in the valorization and popularization of our research activities, promoting a better public understanding of medical advances and their implications for society.

Our close collaboration with Université Laval is also a cornerstone of our institutional philosophy. Every day, we strive to create an environment conducive to the academic and professional development of our students, while emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific rigor.
