The CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center is the largest French-speaking medical research center in North America. It is also the only center in Quebec whose work spans the entire continuum of life sciences, from conception to end-of-life care. Renowned nationally and internationally for its exceptional research teams and state-of-the-art facilities, the organization has built an enviable reputation through its outstanding achievements.

A component of CHU de Québec-Université Laval and affiliated with Université Laval, the Center encompasses the research activities of five hospital sites in Québec City: CHUL, Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus, Hôpital Saint-François d’Assise, and Hôpital du Saint-Sacrement.

The institution is at the forefront of translational research, where laboratory discoveries are rapidly translated into concrete clinical applications, directly benefiting patients and the general population.
