The Bioimaging and Cytometry Platform at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center offers advanced technologies to support biomedical research.

Our equipment includes confocal, high-resolution, and electron microscopy, enabling real-time cellular imaging, while our high-throughput image analysis capabilities optimize data processing.

We also offer conventional and spectral flow cytometry services (up to 30 colors) as well as 4-way cell sorting. Our multiparametric data analysis tools allow the use of the latest dimensionality reduction techniques, providing in-depth insights into cellular and molecular mechanisms.

Services

High-Throughput Image Analysis

The high-throughput image analysis platform serves both public and private laboratories, aiming to assist fundamental and clinical research teams in batch acquisition and analysis of all microscopy images.

Cytometry

With its modern and comprehensive array of instruments, the cytometry platform offers a wide range of cell analysis and sorting services, capable of analyzing up to 30 distinct markers on various cell types.

Bioimaging

The bio-imaging platform offers equipment and microscopes to the local scientific community, with personalized training for each user.

Cellular Imaging Unit

The Cellular Imaging Unit (UIC) brings together specialized microscopy systems acquired by researchers. Located at Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, it supports innovative projects and contributes to the excellence of the research center.
