This service allows for the establishment of a primary culture of fibroblasts from a skin biopsy (5 to 10 mm) and obtaining approximately 2 to 3 million cells within 1 month.
Only fresh skin biopsies will be accepted. The requester must commit to adopting the protocols for biopsy collection and transportation. The steps of collection and transportation are crucial, and if not properly executed, could result in an inability to isolate fibroblasts.
