The 1 Tesla, M2 (Aspect Imaging) preclinical MRI system allows small animal imaging studies using an instrument producing the same contrast and signal effects as a clinical magnetic field equipment. The laboratory has extensive expertise in the field of longitudinal blood perfusion studies, monitoring of tumor masses and regenerative medicine implants, as well as the development of hydrogel-based biomaterials involving MRI monitoring.

M2™ High-performance compact MRI system (Aspect Imaging), operating at 1 Tesla magnetic field.
The system can take 2D and 3D scans with a resolution of up to 85 µm. It is equipped with an isoflurane anesthesia device and a monitoring system allowing control of the respiratory rate in the small animal.

- Sequences available: T1, T2 weighted measurements, diffusion, T1 and T2 mapping, etc.
