The Orbitrap Exploris 480 (Thermo Fisher Scientific) is the newest instrument in the Q-Orbitrap series. This instrument produces high-resolution spectra (up to 480,000 K) allowing for precise measurements (<2 ppm). It is particularly well-suited for the analysis of complex protein mixtures thanks to its highly sensitive Data Independent Acquisition (DIA) mode.
This instrument is coupled with a Vanquish Neo liquid chromatography system (Thermo Fisher Scientific) that offers great versatility. It allows working at flow rates ranging from 0.1 µL/min (nanoflow) to 100 µL/min (microflow) on different types of chromatography columns.
Together, the Orbitrap Exploris 480 and the Vanquish Neo can handle all types of samples. They are particularly useful for projects requiring the analysis of complex protein mixtures or for targeted analysis.
