With six instruments available, it is possible to perform a comprehensive immunophenotyping of heterogeneous cellular samples. There are also instruments dedicated to the analysis of extracellular vesicles.

Training

A theoretical and practical training is required to use the analyzers (CantoII, Symphony A1, and Northern Lights) autonomously. Only employees and students of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center are allowed to use the instruments autonomously.

The cost of the theoretical training is $125 per person. It is a self-paced training that you can complete at your own pace. This training must be successfully completed with an average of at least 80% to proceed to the practical training.

The user who has successfully completed the theoretical training must meet with someone at the core facility to validate the experiment parameters. Once the experiment is validated, it will be possible to undergo the practical training on the chosen device.

At the end of the practical training, if the platform determines that the user does not possess the skills to use the devices autonomously, additional training may be necessary.
