Dr. Marcoux obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry as well as a Master’s degree in Experimental Medicine from McGill University. She then earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences and completed her medical training at the University of Montreal. It was also at this institution where she undertook her postdoctoral medical training (residency in public health and preventive medicine, clinician-scientist program). She focuses primarily on equity in cancer prevention and oncology care, with a population-based perspective. She co-directs the “SSAE-Learning and Equitable Health System” axis of the Quebec Cancer Research Network.
