Dr. Nicholas Brousseau is a specialist in preventive medicine who completed his training at Laval University in 2011. Following his training, he conducted a research fellowship on vaccine-preventable diseases at Public Health England in London. Dr. Brousseau joined the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) in 2015 and the CHU de Québec — Université Laval Research Center in 2019. He has been a member of the Quebec Immunization Committee since 2016 and is also an associate clinical professor at Laval University.

Dr. Brousseau conducts research on the burden associated with vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccine effectiveness, and the impact of vaccination programs. His areas of expertise include vaccination against pertussis, tetanus, pneumococcus, influenza, COVID-19, and smallpox. He also works on optimizing vaccination services in Quebec.

Currently, Dr. Brousseau has active research projects on the impact of rotavirus vaccination in Quebec and Canada, as well as on the immunogenicity of hepatitis vaccines.
