Dr Marc-André Dugas, MD, MSc, FRCPC, is Full Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculté de Medicine de l’Université Laval, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Centre mère-enfant Soleil of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval. He practices pediatric intensive care medicine as a pediatric intensivist within the same institution.

Clinician researcher at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center within the Reproduction, Maternal and Youth Health research program, and holder of a Master’s degree in epidemiology, he is Director of the Pediatric Research Unit. His expertise and clinical research interests surround the field of pediatric critical care and genomics, more specifically physiological monitoring, organ dysfunction and rare diseases. He also has a long-standing experience in healthcare and research administration.
