Lynne Moore is full professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the department of social and preventative medicine, Université Laval, in Québec City. She is recipient of a research career award and holds or shares over 15$M in research grants, and has published 155 peer-reviewed papers over her research career.

Her research aims to improve the quality of acute injury care. She currently leads the Canadian Program for Monitoring Overuse in Injury Care aiming to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention targeting the de-adoption of low-value clinical practices in injury care. She also leads the Canadian Program for Improving the Quality of Canadian Pediatric Trauma Care aiming to identify priorities to improve acute care for children admitted to hospital following injury. She works in close collaboration with Choosing Wisely Canada, the Canadian Trauma Association, the Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux, the Pediatric Emergency Research Consortium, and Accreditation Canada to optimize the implementation and sustainability of trauma quality improvement strategies across Canada.
