Physician specializing in public health and preventive medicine as well as family medicine, Isabelle Goupil-Sormany works in environmental health at the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec. As a clinician-researcher, she is interested in climate mental health, socio-environmental inequalities, and environmental and climate justice. Her current research projects focus on the resilience of fishing communities and maritime aspects related to climate change. Specialized in critical qualitative approaches, she also supervises projects in environmental epidemiology.
