The Miseq i100 is a high-throughput sequencer from the latest generation of Illumina sequencing systems. Powered by the innovative new XLEAP-SBS chemistry, it has been designed to be faster, more accurate, and more flexible than the MiSeq v3 platform. It supports sequencing read lengths of up to 2 X 500bp, enabling the analysis of longer amplicons. This is particularly beneficial for applications such as16S metagenomic profiling, including the V1-V5, V1-V6, and V1-V9 regions.
In addition, the MiSeq i100 offers two flow cell capacities, providing either 5 million or 25 million reads, allowing users to select the throughput best suited to their project requirements. It also incorporates the DRAGEN analysis platform, enabling fast, efficient, and streamlined data analysis.
