This procedure is ideal for recovering a contaminated mouse line but does not offer the possibility of preserving embryos for the future.
For this procedure, you need to provide 5 to 10 males and 5 to 10 females (quantity varies depending on the genetic background of the mouse line to be cryopreserved).
The procedure involves superovulating the females, mating them with males, harvesting the embryos, and then implanting them directly into pseudo-pregnant females. Once the pups are weaned, a health check will be conducted before transferring the animals to the researcher. The costs associated with this health check are not included in the procedure cost.
The cost of this procedure includes a guarantee of a minimum of 8 pups.
