This procedure involves thawing the sample of sperm/embryos and performing implantation into pseudo-pregnant females.
For this procedure, you need to provide one to two straws of cryopreserved sperm.
Please note that fertilization will be done using ova from “wildtype” females (genetic background corresponding to that of your lineage). For example, if the sperm from a homozygous male is cryopreserved, the resulting mice from thawing will automatically be heterozygous, and crossings will be necessary if you desire homozygous mice.
The cost of this procedure guarantees you 10 pups. This guarantee is valid only if the sperm was frozen by the animal facilities service of the CHU de Québec. Additionally, in certain cases, the cost of the procedure may be subject to change (importation, low fertilization rate, etc.).
For this procedure, you need to provide one to three straws of cryopreserved embryos.
The cost of this procedure guarantees you one pair (1 male and 1 female). This guarantee is valid only if the embryos were frozen by the animal facilities service of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval. Additionally, in certain cases, the cost of the procedure may be subject to change (e.g., importation).
