Alain Milot is a medical specialist in internal medicine. He holds a master’s degree in pharmacology and a specialist certificate in clinical hypertension. He is a Fellow of the International Hypertension Society and the Society for Vascular Medicine.
He practices at the Hôpital Saint-François d’Assise of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval where he coordinates the medical activities of the Vascular Diseases Centre of Excellence. In addition, he is a full professor of medicine at Université Laval and director of the fellowship training program in vascular medicine.
Within the Population Health and Optimal Health Practices Program, his interests in clinical and epidemiological research focus on the study of the relationships between the work environment, lifestyle habits, cardiovascular risk factors, cardiovascular diseases and cognitive function.
