                                 <div class=\"content\">\n                            <div class=\"inner\">\n                                <p>Mouse genotyping is essential for the successful progression of a scientific research project. This step is crucial for managing mouse lines, identifying the genotype of offspring, and confirming the genetic constitution, whether modified or unmodified (knock-in\/knock-out mice).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mouse genotyping is performed via PCR using samples obtained from tail snips or ear punches. DNA extraction is carried out using the Extracta DNA Prep for PCR-Tissue kit from Quantabio.<\/p>\n<p>The genotyping strategy is based on information provided by the company selling the mouse line.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jackson Lab provides the protocol containing PCR conditions along with gel photos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PCR products are analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis.<\/p>\n<p>Gel photos and individual identification will be provided to you via email.<\/p>\n<p>Our current processing time is approximately 1 week.<\/p>\n\n
