                     <p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Orbitrap Fusion Tribrid (Thermo Fisher Scientific) is a mass spectrometer that combines three different analyzers: a quadrupole (enabling efficient ion selection), a linear trap (allowing rapid detection of fragmentation spectra), and an Orbitrap (providing very precise mass measurement with ultra-high resolution up to addition to the classical CID fragmentation, this mass spectrometer is also capable of performing other types of peptide fragmentation thanks to its HCD cell (particularly useful for TMT quantifications) and its ETD source, which is more efficient for identifying post-translational modifications such as phosphorylations, glycosylations, etc.<\/span><span
