Powered by the innovative new XLEAP-SBS chemistry, it has been designed to be faster, more accurate, and more flexible than the MiSeq v3 platform. It supports sequencing read lengths of up to 2 X 500bp, enabling the analysis of longer amplicons. This is particularly beneficial for applications such as16S metagenomic profiling, including the V1-V5, V1-V6, and V1-V9 regions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the MiSeq i100 offers two flow cell capacities, providing either 5 million or 25 million reads, allowing users to select the throughput best suited to their project requirements.
