Philippe Landreville earned a doctorate in psychology from Laval University in 1991. He held an academic position in the Department of Psychology at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières for four years before joining the Laval University School of Psychology, in 1994. In addition to the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec, he is a researcher at the Centre d’excellence sur le vieillissement de Québec and Centre de recherche sur les soins et les services de première ligne de l’Université Laval.
A specialist of the clinical psychology of the elderly, his research interests include anxiety and depressive disorders in older adults, as well as the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
