Dr. Amélie Boutin is a researcher at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center, within the Reproduction, Mother and Youth Health & Population Health and Optimal Health Practices Units, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Université Laval. She holds a Research Scholars – Junior 1 Salary Award from the FRQS.
She completed a MSc in Epidemiology and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Université Laval. She continued her training with a postdoctoral fellowship in perinatal epidemiology at the University of British Columbia and the Children’s and Women’s Hospital of British Columbia in Vancouver. She received the prestigious Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Award and CIHR Fellowship Award.
Dr Boutin is a perinatal epidemiologist with interest for the perinatal health care system organization, access to perinatal health care, maternal, fetal and neonatal mortality surveillance and preventive interventions in perinatal care.
