Job description

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work on the functional organization of cortical inhibitory circuits. Current projects focus on cellular basis of synaptic communication between inhibitory interneurons, as well as interneuron dendritic integration and Ca2+ signaling in synaptic plasticity. A broad spectrum of methods is involved including whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology, two-photon Ca2+ imaging and photostimulation, immunohistochemistry, pharmacology and genetic approaches.

Skills needed

Candidates should have a PhD in Neurobiology or a related discipline, and at least two first-author papers (published or accepted). Prior experience with patch clamp electrophysiology is required.
